(1) If the position of an employee becomes vacant for any reason, such position will automatically be canceled. If any position is cancelled, within seven days from the date of cancellation, the officer as per Rule 6 shall provide the details of such post to the Ministry.

(3) The Secretary shall inform the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministries and Civil Libraries within seven days of the date of receipt of the information that sub-rule (1) has been abolished.
